Lost Identity!

Just as Ainsley has instructed all records of Eloise’s life were erased, including her relationship with the Golden moon Pack and her educational background… The current Eloise was just a criminal locked up in the werewolf prison.

After thinking it all over, she wrapped her arms around her knees and curled up. Ainsley had erased all traces of her life.

The next morning, someone roughly pushed Eloise away. “Hey, wake up. Go clean the bathroom…” A female prisoner screamed in fear. “She’s dead!” A braver female prisoner ran up to her and put her finger under Eloise’s nose. After a while, she felt Eloise’s weak breathing. “Shut up! She’s still alive! Call the guards!” Eloise was still alive. That might not be a good thing.

More humiliation and torture awaited her, which would drive her crazy and turn her into a different person.

Three years later, a thin woman staggered down the street with a tattered plastic bag in her hand. She kept a few dollars and her ID card in that bag. She was pale and bruised. She also had a three-centimeter scar on her face.

Three years, and everything had changed. Eloise’s lips curved slightly. Yes, after three years, things changed. It wasn’t just about the world outside the lob-man prison, she had changed too. Where could she go? She didn’t belong to any pack and had lost her identity in human society. As a scamp, she was too weak to survive among other Scamp.

Then, a job advertisement from a nearby store caught her eye. She stopped in front of the job advertisement. She looked at it for a while, and finally her eyes fell on the words “Cleaners Wanted” and “Lodging and Lunch Offered.” Eloise gritted her teeth and entered the club called Scarlet Heart. As soon as she entered, she shivered. The cold air from the central air conditioning made her shudder. “Name,” the woman behind the counter said impatiently. “Eloise,” she replied in a hoarse and unpleasant voice. Her voice frightened the beautiful woman who was holding a pen in her hand. The woman almost dropped the pen. “What’s wrong with your voice?” she asked Eloise in an unpleasant tone. After three years of terrible prison life, Eloise learned to be obedient. Although the woman asked so abruptly, she still managed to answer in a calm tone, “It was caused by the smoke.” The beautiful woman was slightly surprised, and her inquisitive eyes fell on Eloise’s face. “You mean, a fire?” “Yes, a fire.” After saying that, Eloise lowered her gaze. Someone had caused the fire on purpose. Seeing that Eloise wouldn’t say any more, the pretty woman stopped worrying. She frowned. “That’s not right. Scarlet Heart isn’t an ordinary club. Our guests are VIPs.”

She looked Eloise up and down again, displeased. She despised Eloise because her dress looked like a sack. Club Scarlet Heart was not a place for the common man. Even the waitresses here were all attractive and beautiful young women. How could someone like Eloise think of applying for a job there? The beautiful woman stood up and gestured to Eloise. “You can’t work here. You’re not even qualified as a waitress.” Then, she turned around and was about to leave. “I just want to be a cleaner.” Eloise’s muffled voice, echoing through the office, stopped the woman. The woman stopped, turned around, and raised her eyebrows. She looked Eloise up and down. “I’ve never seen a girl in her twenties willing to work as a cleaner.” However, Eloise calmly said, “I’d love to be an escort girl if I’m qualified. But I know what I look like. At least, I can still do some cleaning work.” She thought, “I was sent to prison as a murderer. Now I’m released, and dignity means nothing to me anymore.”Eloise laughed at herself inwardly. The beautiful woman was surprised and looked Eloise up and down again. She returned to her desk, picked up the pen, and filled out the form. “You’re hired.” She paused for a moment. Then, she looked up and warned Eloise, “Do you know why I made an exception and hired you?” The woman didn’t expect a response from Eloise and continued, “Eloise, I agree with you. Accept your fate and do what you’re capable of. Many people are twice your age and still don’t understand. You choose to face reality and see what you can do. I’m sure you also know what you can’t do.” she didn’t respond and just looked at the woman in silence. The beautiful woman looked at her and sighed, “From now on, you can call me Rachael. Eloise, I have to tell you, Club Scarlet Heart is no ordinary club.” Eloise could sense that Rachaelwas a werewolf from the smell, so she understood what Rachael meant. Apparently, Rachael thought she was human. Anyway, Eloise had a job now. She was no longer the daughter of the Alpha of the Golden moon Pack. Instead, Eloise was a cleaner who had just been released from prison.

Slowly, Eloise adapted to her new life. During the last few months at Club Scarlet Heart, she was often bullied by other employees. The imprisoned werewolves told her that everything she had suffered was ordered by Alpha Ainsley. Eloise stopped fighting because she was no longer the daughter of the Alpha of the Golden moon Pack.

She was nothing but a scamp and no one cared about her. Then, day after day, the terrible beatings, torture, and insults tamed her. Eloise's wolf was weakening, and the connection between them was weakening as well. One day, she noticed that she couldn't summon her wolf. Her wolf seemed to be gone.

The other werewolves began to laugh at Eloise as they discovered that there was no wolf aura about her. Without a wolf, she was no longer a werewolf. Their voices were like a spell, and their faces were twisted.

No matter how much Eloise tried to push them away, she couldn't get them out of her head. “Eloise, a guest in the VIP room spilled the wine. Go clean it up.” A waitress's voice interrupted Eloise's thoughts. Eloise turned around and gave a blank look. Seeing that Eloise was in a daydreaming state, the waitress complained, “You're slacking off at work again! You better be careful, or I'll tell Rachel!” Eloise was always quiet and would do as she was told. She wouldn't talk back even if others bullied her. Every person in Club Scarlet Heart knew this. If someone was in a bad mood, they would bully Eloise to vent. So, Eloise agreed without trying to defend herself. Her appearance made the waitress look down on her even more. Eloise lowered her gaze and followed the waitress into the elevator, but was suddenly pushed. She was taken back. The waitress looked at her in disgust and said, “You stink. Can't you smell it? You'll ruin the air in the elevator and the guests might complain. Go and take the cargo elevator.” Although Eloise was dressed sloppily, she washed her clothes often, and there was no strange smell on her body. The waitress was just trying to annoy Eloise. If it were anyone else, they would have quarrelled.

As expected, Eloise walked out of the elevator silently. When the elevator door closed, the waitress pursed her lips in disdain.

Cargo elevators were used to transport supplies. Despite their relative spaciousness, the decoration was simple. Therefore, waitresses rarely used it. The doors slowly opened.

Eloise looked up and saw two people inside. A tall and strong man was hugging a curvy woman; they were hugging each other tightly and kissing passionately. Eloise was suddenly stunned.

It would be awkward if she went in, but it would be strange if she didn't. She just stood in front of the elevator and didn't move. The woman in the man's arms was still panting lightly. Eloise had worked at Club Scarlet Heart for a few months, and she was clear about the meaning of the situation. She could see the woman's back, as well as the man's profile. Eloise felt the man's gaze and her heart beat wildly. She observed the man carefully. In the not-so-spacious freight elevator, she could sense the man's strong aura as an Alpha.
