My Honey

Alex didn't care about all of Deborah's nagging, he got up from the bed and was about to walk away.

Even though he was her fake husband, he still had to take care of her. He couldn't imagine how his in-laws would respond when they saw their daughter so badly injured like this. Surely Deborah's whereabouts would be a big question.

"Stop! Where are you going?" Deborah asked, blocking Alex's path.

"To go. I still have a lot to do," Alex replied briefly.

He passed Deborah who was still digesting Alex's words. She could understand the president's busy schedule with so many companies. But not under such conditions

"I'm coming!" said Deborah.

Alex's footsteps stopped for a moment. Then he took another step. He didn't have time to deal with this troublesome woman.

Why did his men bring her here? What a nuisance. Alex quickly swung his legs so that the woman behind him could not follow.

Deborah grabbed her bag and shoes. Barefoot she trotted after the long strides of the man who was now her temporary husband.

"Hey, wait!" Deborah shouted as she slung her small bag around her neck.

Alex continued to walk down the hallway regardless of Deborah calling his name. His ears seemed deaf and didn't hear anything.

Behind him, Deborah painstakingly ran after Alex and eventually she was able to grab him by the shoulders and hold his hand.

Alex stopped his steps and brushed off Deborah's hand.

"So you're no longer disgusted by these LGBT creatures?" Alex looked deeply into Deborah's eyes.

Seeing Alex's eagle eyes, Deborah backed away slowly. It seemed like things were very different this time. There was a demonic aura in the man's eyes.

"You're hurt, what should I tell Mama and Papa if something happens to you?" Deborah said softly.

She lowered her gaze. Alex's gaze was too sharp and made Deborah's hair stand up.

This was the first time a woman had paid attention to her. After she left, Alex's life was empty and cold.

She didn't expect that the woman she helped would give her the spark of warmth she had been missing for so long.

This poor woman had turned into a beautiful swan that made everyone mesmerized by her presence.

"Where are you going? I don't want to go home alone," Deborah said in a pleading tone.

Deborah's words broke Alex's reverie. He quickly came to his senses and resumed his steps towards the elevator. Moments later the elevator opened, and the two entered together.

Alex took out the flat object in his pocket and dialed a number. Soon the line was connected.

"Pick up your brother at the hotel downtown," Alex said in a heavy voice. He seemed to be in a lot of trouble.

Alex quickly pushed the red button when the person on the other end of the line agreed.

Deborah was actually disappointed. She still wanted to accompany this cold and mysterious man. For some reason, her heart was moved to accompany him.

The elevator doors opened, Deborah quickly tidied up her appearance and put on the shoes she was carrying.

They got out and proceeded to the parking lot. In the distance, there were already several people dressed in black standing facing Deborah and Alex.

As their steps got closer, Deborah began to recognize the person who was waiting for them, Alex to be precise.

They saluted Alex and Deborah.

"We got the goods back, sir," reported one of the men in black.

"They're gone. I won't forgive whoever played behind my back!" replied Alex with his hands clenched tightly into fists.

Deborah gulped down her saliva. She tried to digest everything Alex said that she heard. Yesterday she saw with her own eyes how easily this man shot bullets at his enemies and now... taking people's lives? How horrible.

"Take care of him, some of them are coming with me to the headquarters. I want to see that bastard Akeno right away," Alex said as he got into the car and was followed by several people dressed in black.

Two people stayed beside Deborah, both with expressionless faces. She tried to step up and knock on the car door.

Unfortunately Alex did not respond. The car kept speeding away from the hotel parking lot.

Deborah felt awkward, these two people made her feel a little scared. Even though they were here to take care of her, it was still scary.

She grabbed her cell phone and tried to contact someone to ease her fear.

In her brain, many questions began to arise. Who was Alexander? What did he do for a living? And, is he really LGBT? But from the way he looked at her last night.

The rows of torn bread that were prominently displayed in front of Deborah last night made her cheeks blush.
