Love Magic: Two Different Hearts

The night was dark and the forest was so quiet that only the sounds of singing insects could be heard across the entire place.

The soft breeze of the cold air, gushing sound of the swaying plants and trees, and the other mysterious music created by other animals are very evident in the place. Everything was fine and natural until---

Suddenly a woman's pants, sobs and footsteps infiltrated the quiet forest.

As she sobs, you could feel the despair and sadness evident on her voice. While sobbing she carefully and lovingly holds on unto the cloth she was holding.

She's already tired and already exhausted from running at the same time her powers are already depleting too.

But one thing is for sure that the only thing plastered into her mind, is to run away and scape the danger.

Same as the people who just caught up with her. All of them are trying to run away and escape from something--- something terrible.

Terrible enough for them to run away and scape like their lives depend on it which is literally true, though it is against their will to run away and scape. But what can they do, it's their only one and last choice to take before it's too late.

Even though everyone was already tired and weak from running and escaping they didn't stop and run even more.

"THEY ARE HERE! EVERYONE CATCH THEM AND DON'T LET ANYONE SCAPE!" Someone shouted making all of the turn around and froze for a moment.

Fear was evident in there eyes until one of the men shouted pulling them from their frozen state.

"RUN!... EVERYONE RUN!.. Master... Everyone protect the master." Everyone moved in sync and immediately went into position to secure the safety of their master as they run.

"Well handle them Sir. Take the master and run to safety" a man said to the others while they were running away.

"No.... all of us needs to escape... we--"

"Master. We. Promised. Our. Previous. Master. That we will secure that you will escape and be safe" the man said.

The woman tears up and looked at the man. The man was one of his husband’s loyal servants same as the rest which is now hers.

These people were under her husband’s authority and they were never treated as servants but as a member of their family. They were loyal..... loyal enough to put their lives on the line just to save them, her exactly.

As she looks at them, they were smiling cheerfully at her making her tear up more.

She glances at the other people and they wore the same faces. Determination is evident in their faces and they already made up their final stand and she can never make them back down.

Her family was so blessed. Blessed because they were surrounded by people like this. Blessed.... blessed... but --

But why did these have to happen to them? Why would they have to experience these? Why--

"Master we need to run now" one of her only left female servants which she also considered as a family.

She hasn’t realized that they already stop running only when they heard again shouts and screams which alerted them.

"Liz, Larz. Take the master and leave immediately this instant" the man ordered making the two move and force their master to move already.

"Master let's go now" the girl said. Even though it is painful to leave them behind she had to go. So, with a painful and broken heart they left the people whom she cared for.

The people divided their selves in order to trick the people chasing them and secure the safety of their master.

"LONG LIVE HIS AND HER MAJESTY!!!" The men chanted before going to the battlefield and fight...

As the master and her left the people running for their lives, they then heard another batch of shouts and screams making them all tear up and shake their head and continue to run.

"Is the child alright?" the man asked in worry to his master when they already had a distance.

They all stopped and their master kneeled on the ground and try to uncover the cloth she was holding. She smiles at the...

...child who is sleeping peacefully unaware of what had happened.

"Yes, he's perfectly fine and good" she said to them while wiping her tears.

This whole time she was carrying a child. An innocent child who just recently came to this world. A tear slipped from her eyes followed by sobs.

The two people feel worried and also scared at the same time. But mainly more worried for their master and her child, scared if something might happen like the people whom they are running from might caught them.

They already know that the people who they already left behind are probably already..... dead.

They're already gone and they won't see them again. They all sacrificed their lives to protect their own master therefore they need to do their best to secure the safety of their master and escape successfully.

The girl comforted her master and calmly look at the child.

"Master we need to go or they'll catch us-"

"I can't let that happen. No matter what happens will escape this madness. I can't let them kill us... I won't" their master said while holding her child.

Both the man and the girl were taken aback by their master's words. Full of determination and bravery but still with the hint of fear in it.

They all stand up and run towards the place where they could be safe.

"Master we are already here" the man told his master when they finally came out of the forest. By the time they came out they were panting rapidly.

They halted trying to catch their breath in the moment. The girl was bending down while their master is on her knees for support and still trying to hold and shield the child who was cradled in her arms while the woman is trying to hold her in place. While the man is scouting the area for threats.

Their master looks up and saw the place where they stop. She can feel the powerful barrier between them and the other side.

The barrier was lots of huge trees and vines making it look like a dead end if you don't carefully look at it. And only us could see it. If a normal person stumbled here, he or she thinks this is a dead end and go away but not for us since these is the only way.

"Master are you sure they are going to let us in" the woman worriedly said to her master. Their master then nods while desperately maintaining her heartbeat normal and trying to secure her hold unto the child.

She looks at the child she was holding and everything flashed to her mind. He nearly falls unto the ground if she hadn't been held by the girl beside her.

The man looks at his master. Mix emotions like anger, fear, sadness and worry was evident in her eyes. His master was fidgeting uncontrollably, so much that she needs to grip on the girl for support so that she can't fall down.

The man and the girl blamed the people who made their master feel like that. She just witnessed a massacre, a disaster that no one can ever forget even if you want to forget it.

And not-- not just a simple one but an intensive one since the people who died are her family. The only thing she saved was her precious and only son.

The girl's eyes softened and comforted his master. "Master we need to go now or they will catch us. We promised our master to protect both of you and we will not back down on that. Just like what everyone did" she pulls his master and give her a hug.

The girl strokes her master’s hair trying to calm her down. And it worked. The woman calmed down while holding unto the child like if she ever let go, she'll die.

Then the woman started crying one's again. Her already red eyes started to get worse as she cried again. And the only thing the girl did was watch and hug her tighter.

"Why is this happening? We only--" she continued to cry her hearts out.

Worry flushed into the girl's eyes as she looks back trying to see if somewhat, they have been followed. The man is also looking around.

Relief washed their troubled face when they saw no one. They glace at their master's wife and they were surprised.

Their master was staring straight to their eyes. She flashed a smile to them which they gladly returned.

The woman wiped her tears away looking straight to the them. Worry and sadness was in her eyes but she covered them with a determined and happy face.

"Thank you so much for everything you've done. I'm so glad that you're here. I really appreciate it with all my life..." the woman said to them.

"No master we are the one who should be thanking you since because of you and your family we are here" the girl said while kneeling at her.

They both smiled at each other until the man spoke.

"Are you sure they'll let us in?" the man asked again his master.

The woman flashed a smile and gives him a reassuring smile "Of course they'll let us in I'm still part of this place" the woman said.

The woman smiled and look down at the child she was holding. She smiled when the child started to wake up.

The woman smiled lovingly at the child she was holding then she looks at the man and the girl.

"Even though I'm not sure if my husband is still alive and my whole family is dead. I still have one right here in my arms and I can't let him die just like that" the woman said to them in despair and pain while looking at her child.

Devastated and broken the woman still held her ground and composure.

The man was shocked when he looked back. They were already followed by the people who wants to kill them.

"They're here..." a man’s voice echoed in the forest alerting everyone around the area.

"Master. We need to run now" the girl said and the woman used her strength to use her powers but she can't because she’s already weak.

"KILL THEM!!" a shout of order followed making them run faster.

"Get away now, Master. I'll deal with them" the man shouted to his master who is now on his feet ready to fight.

"But--" "Go now master. Take her" the man shouted forcing the girl to make their master turn around and run as tears falling down her cheeks.

(Why must these happen to us? We only wanted to-- I hate this.... why...)

The child suddenly giggled surprising her all of a sudden. The woman looks at the child and a tear slipped at the woman eyes then smiles lovingly.

They both immediately run to the barrier in order to be saved. They're already far from the people who are chasing them. Until the girl shouted.

"Master---" her master immediately turns around and she froze and step back. "---Run"

And again, with a heavy and devastated heart she run desperately. The girl was struck by a black arrow in her heart while blocking them using her own body.

(W--why.... )

When she got near the barrier. The barrier changed from trees and vines to a huge portal. And at the other back of the portal a girl was waiting. It was her only friend whom she sees as a sister that she always had.

The woman smiled to her friend and a hit of hope flashed to her eyes that could make her move forward and forget everything that had just happened.

That's what they thought but something happened that killed that hope.........
