Chapter 3

Immediately after she entered the office, all the staff stood up and greeted her but she ignored them as if they weren’t talking. She was about to enter her cabin when an employee approached her

“Good morning ma’am,” he said

She glared at him as she studied his outfit, he doesn’t look familiar nor did his outfit match with her workers

“Good morning ma’am,” he said again

“Who are you”

“Ma’am I’m here for the job interview, I saw an ad on your platform, you are looking for a good and reliable tracker and I….” he didn’t finish talking when she opened the door to her cabin and went inside ignorantly.

“Why did she work away,” he thought

She opened her laptop and started typing before she called someone to send her a cup of black sugar-free coffee.

She has been stressed for the past five years, she needed someone to track him, someone she can’t trust, someone that can be reliable, someone professional, someone that can find him.

Shortly after she made the call, staff knocked on the cabin door before he entered the office, he dropped the coffee on the table and was about to leave when she spoke

“Tell all those that came for the job interview to leave”

“But ma’am”

She raised her hands indicating for him to keep quiet. She hates to talk and worse than that is to say something twice.

He understood what she meant as he left the office, he did exactly as she said.

She stared at her laptop for a couple of minutes before she opened the wardrobe and brought out her medicine. She took a sip of coffee before swallowing her medicine, she began to twist her neck in a manner as she giggled quietly. She laid her head on the table as she remembered the memories she had with him.

FLASHBACK

Five years ago

She was in Australia for a business meeting, after the meeting she went to the cafeteria to get something to eat

“Good morning ma’am”

She nodded as a response to the greeting before spoke

“I will like a sugar-free black coffee and a slice of lemon tart”

“Okay ma’am please have sit while I get your order ready”

Immediately she took a sit, she brought out her phone and began using it.

“Will you marry me” she heard a voice mutter audible, she turned around and saw a man proposing to his girlfriend.

She felt hatred for them despite it being the first time she saw them. She felt more anger when the lady accepted the proposal, she wanted to do something about it she felt like running mad but she had to control herself.

She took a deep breath as she swallowed her saliva.

“Here is your order ma’am,” the waitress said as she placed the coffee and the lemon tart on the table.

“Is there anything else you need”

Her concentration was still on the couple, she had no idea that the waitress was talking.

“Ma’am it looks like you admire them, aren’t they perfect for each other,” the waitress said with a smile on her face.

She frowned as she glared at the waitress.

“Is there anything else you need?” the waitress asked

“Leave my presence” she whispered

Immediately after the waitress left, she took a sip of coffee and instantly threw the cup on the floor which made a loud noise making everyone's attention turn to her.

“I told you I want a sugar-free black coffee not this” she yelled

“Ma’am I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to…” the waitress didn’t finish talking when she raised a hand indicating the waitress to keep quiet

“Foolish amateur” she said as she grabbed stuff and exited the place

The coffee wasn’t the problem the couple was, she wanted to let out her anger and frustration before she runs mad.

After she left, she directly entered her car and took her medicine, her hands were shaking as her body started to shiver.

She took a long deep breath after she took her medicine. Shortly after she calmed down she decided to get something to eat from the nearest cafe.

She entered the cafe and ordered a black sugar-free coffee with a banana muffin before she took a sit by the window. She looked through the window and a strong refreshing wind blew on her face which made her smile a little bit.

“Here is your order ma’am,” a voice said, she turned back and came face to face with her long-lost obsession, she stared at him as he placed her order on the table

“Is there anything else you need”

She didn’t utter a word as his presence was all she need.

“Ma’am,” he said

“Hmm”

“Is there anything else you need”

She gently shacks her head before she responded “No”

She watched him as he walked away, a full smile appeared on her face

“He is back,” she thought

He looked exactly like her husband although he was a bit younger than him. She felt a good feeling when she saw him.

“It’s time for them to reunite,” she thought

She took all the time she needed to finish her muffin and coffee, she stared at him continuously without a blink or an itch.

After she finished, she paid the bill and walked out of the cafe. She could have stayed at the cafe for hours but she had no choice but to leave, as her biggest aim is to plan a perfect future for them.

Immediately she got into her hotel room she took off her heels and called her personal tracker to search for important information about him, his age, his name, his family, everything she needed to know.

She had to find a way to make him fall in love with her, she had to make him comfortable around her.

He is her eternal obsession
