Her Unrequited Love

Meera:

That was the first day of her college. She was very excited as well as nervous about that. Till then she was a schoolgirl, now entering her college life. She secured good scores in her higher studies, and chose to pursue bachelor’s degree in computer science.

That college was her parents' choice. She felt very happy while stepping into her college. She is an introvert and so felt nervous. But with all her courage she stepped in. She was mesmerized by her college infrastructure and walked further by admiring the college atmosphere.

She went in search of her classroom. On the way she met a girl. She too looked confused. Meera asked her where the first year Computer Science classroom is? The girl seems to be happy. "Are you a 1st year Computer Science Student?" She exclaimed with joy.

Meera nodded. "I was searching for the same classroom, lets search together" she said with same excitement. "By the way I'm Meera" Meera smiled. "I'm Initha, call me Ini" she grinned.

Finally, they both found their classroom on the second floor. They both decided to sit together. The classroom environment was calm and nice. They both sat in the middle desk.

They started talking about random things like school life, favorite subject, parents and their hobbies.

After some time, lecturers came and since it was their first day, they asked students to introduce themselves, and they conducted some fun activities. Every student enjoyed those activities and participated eagerly. Meera was asked to sing a song. She sang her most favorite song. Her voice just suited the song so well and everyone appreciated it.

Meera liked everything. She felt very happy to join that college. On the very first day she had a very good time. She liked Initha very much as she was very jovial and friendly. She made few more friends. They had good bonding among themselves.

Evening Meera returned to her home. "How was your day?" Janagi, Meera's mom asked with a sweet smile on her face. She exclaimed about the first day of her college; also, she added that she loved that college very much.

Janagi felt happy after listening to her words. She gave her a cup of coffee and asked her to freshen up. Meera enjoyed the tasty coffee, freshened up and switched the TV on.

She randomly watched some music channels. By that time Maya, Meera's elder sister came in and she also joined her. After few hours Meera's father Anand returned home from office.

He asked about her college and her staffs. Meera shared about her experience and about other facilities in her college. She was excited that she loved the college. They both had their dinner. Meera and Maya headed towards their room.

Meera detailed everything that happened in her college and her friends. Maya talked about her day and they both chit-chatted for some time and they both laughed together. Finally, drifted to sleep.

Meera is incredibly good, generous and a kindhearted cheerful girl who lived a happy and contented life with her family and friends. For her love is everything she needed in her life. She had a wish, she wanted to love a guy and to shower her whole love on him. She, too, wished to marry the one she loves and had several dreams about her love life.

Maya is just one year older than Meera. She is doing her 2nd year fashion designing course. Her college is quite far from Meera's college. Her father works in a private company. Her mom is a homemaker.

For Meera her family is all she wants, and she loves to spend time with her family. Meera and Maya are not just sisters, but are best friends too. Meera shares all her personal stuff with Maya without any restrictions.

Whatever happens in her life, the first person she wants to share it with was Maya. She always feels safe when she is with her sister. She is the second mother. Maya is an optimistic person, while Meera is an introvert and emotional.

Maya prefers to be modern and pursuing fashion designing degree is her dream. But Meera preferred to be traditional just like her mom. She learned every traditional thing from her mom.

Maya never shows interest in these things. They don't have the same personality, but they enjoyed their difference and that never disrupted their bonding. They had a strong bond like a mother and daughter.

Janagi is a loving character. Her family is her world. She always wants her children to be happy. Janagi is Meera's inspiration. She wants to be the most loving, caring and most importantly responsible person like her mom. She taught all the possible good qualities to her daughters. She always advises her daughters to be kind to people.

She is the best cook. She used to cook variety of dishes, that inspired Meera a lot from her childhood and she learnt cooking from her mom when she was in her school at the same time, Maya never entered kitchen.

She doesn't even know to boil water. Meera herself learned to draw Rangoli. She used to draw huge Rangolis in front of her house during every special occasion which made Janagi very happy. Janagi has never shown any difference between her daughters, she always treats her daughters equally.

Anand is a kind dad who is very jovial; who will give freedom to his daughters. He always supports their decision in their life and respects his daughters' decision.
