In our fourth year of love, Dylan and I returned to the past. Yes, we traveled through time, but then he said, "Let's break up." He wanted to be with a wealthy girl.

“Dorothy, in our past life, I was tied to you for a lifetime. I rejected Kimberly's advances for you and missed out on so much. This time, I want an easier life. I don't want to be trapped in an ordinary life anymore. I want a different life.”

I took a deep breath. How ridiculous. Did he think I wanted to be trapped in an ordinary life? Did I not want a life of my own? Did I enjoy a life that was all about him and his family?

“Dylan, are you sure about this?”

“Yes, I've thought about it for a long time.”
