The song playing in his ear through his earphone has a catchy tune that would make him wants to dance if not for the fact that there are people around him now. Funny thing about this world is we are all required to behave in a certain way in order to be acceptable to the society. If we are different, we have no choice but to pretend to be someone else just to be accepted and hide that deepest darkest side of us in a corner, waiting to be unleased at any moment given the right time and place. It made us wants to rebel. Like the catchy song in his ear, given the right time and place where he is alone, he would have already moved his hands and feet to the rhythm and dance since nobody is watching.

He sweats…

Nobody was watching.

He was alone in his mind.

He knows that soon he will be ready for the plan. He needs to get into the building, aim the gun that he had hid in the men’s toilet two weeks ago to the Politician’s head, and pull the trigger. Then, his target will be out. A decoy is also ready to take his place if that fails. The decoy might be the one who would need to pull the trigger if something went wrong anyway. But always… always… those who entered the association known as ‘The Dead End’ will never come back home after they killed their last target.

Because here, we believe in bringing justice to the injustice of this country…

We believe in bringing a message to the corrupted politicians that there are those who knew the truth behind their lies and conspiracies…

We believe in showing the higher ups that their laws are full of flaws…

He is one of the assassins from ‘The Dead End’ or is simply known as TDE. Once he’s done with his targets, his next mission is to get rid of himself. Suicide is the final mission… That’s how TDE works… and they never got caught.

The world is filled with filth. Filth that needs to be cleaned up. Sometimes, the only way to ensure justice is served is to be the bad guy yourself, to fight evil with evil. Blood for blood. Despite it all, the core of evil still lies within the humans’ heart. No matter how many times you try to eradicate evil, evil will still exist. There’s no ending to this sacrifice. No ending to the fight. There’s just that light at the end of the tunnel. But as you journey towards the light, you might just find that it is beyond your reach. But the question is… will you continue to fight? Or will you just give in to the darkness?
