Chapter 2

Next day.

Dylan went to work. And jennette was busy in school, she was very excited to meet dylan.

As the school ended. Jennette was walking back home it was evening when she saw dylan waiting outside her house in his car.

Jen: "dylan"

Dylan looked at jennette.

Dylan: "here you are. I thought you're home"

Jen: "No i was in school"

Dylan gave a confused expression.

Dylan: "You're in school"

Jen: "uhm, yeah"

Dylan: "wow. You don't look like a school student. How old are you?"

Jen: "am 16"

Dylan chuckled.

Jen:" what's wrong? "

[she asked confused]

Dylan:" I thought you may be 20. I was just... Am sorry, You just look like a very well grown up, a mature person"

Jen: "well i am"

[she smiled]

Dylan: "again am sorry"

Jen: "it's alright, I can understand. People tend to think like that about me often. So it's not your fault. Shall we leave?"

Dylan:" yeah sure"

He opened the car door for her. She sat inside. And he started driving towards a coffee cafe.

They arrived outside starbucks.

They entered the cafe.

Dylan: "what'd you like to have?"

Jen: "Cappuccino"

Dylan: "okay"

The waiter arrived.

Dylan: "One cappuccino and one expresso please."

Waiter: "sure sir"

Dylan looked at jenn. She looked extremely pretty in her long brunette hairs and maroon dress.

Dylan: "you're looking pretty"

Jen smiled and looked at dylan.

Jen: "and you're looking handsome"

Dylan: "thank you. Well I wanted to say sorry to you for yesterday."

Jen: "It's alright dylan Things happen. Am fine now"

Dylan:" well that's relieving"

[he smiled]

Jen: "yeah"

Dylan: "So.. You're in which school?"

Jen: "St Crescent high school"

Dylan: "that's nice"

Jen: "Yes it is. It's like the best one"

Dylan: "So jennette. Tell me more about yourself"

Jen smiled.

Jen: "well what can i say. I'm a high school student. I'm 16. Uh, my mother died when i was 6 due to alcoholism. My father left me for another woman. I don't have grandparents, and i live with my aunt, her names susan"

[she said feeling bit disappointed]

Dylan felt bad for jenn.

Dylan: "oh, so what does your aunt do?"

Jen: "She's a tattoo artist. She makes incredible tattoo. She have her own tattoo shop"

[She said cutely]

dylan fell for jen's cuteness.

He was smiling.

Dylan: "that's nice"

Jen: "so now, you tell me about yourself"

[she said looking straight in his eyes]

Dylan smiled.

Dylan: "okay, so I'm a businessman, i have loads of business worldwide, I'm 24, uhm, my father died when i was 18 after his death my mother took care of me, she was the one who played the role of both of my parents perfectly, as i turned 20 i started helping her too and now we both are responsible for the success. I love her the most. I live with her in our mansion. I have 1 younger brother derek but he left us for his girlfriend who lives in spain"

Jennette was shocked.

Jen: "You're 24"

Dylan:" yes"

Jen: "i thought you may will be 20"

Dylan chuckled.

Jen: "I'm serious. Your life struggles are really inspiring. Am happy to meet you mr. Howland"

Dylan smiled.

Dylan: "and am happy to meet a wonderful lady like you miss McGuigan"

Jen blushed.

Coffee arrived. And they began drinking. They enjoyed each others company allot. They even exchanged their numbers and went back home.

Few weeks passed on.

Dylan and jen were spending allot of time together, they were falling for each others but were unaware with the fact.

Jen already knew that she likes dylan allot but was afraid to reveal it.

Jen thinking:

'i cannot reveal this thing to him, what if he doesn't like me back. I'm not gonna destroy our friendship. I like him allot. And why will he ever love a girl like me. Am not even rich. I'm not his type'

Dylan thinking:

'i really like her. But am i sounding like a pedophile? Because she's way too young for me, she's just 16 and am 24, we're 8 years apart in age. How can i think like this for her. But she's amazing, she's really my type, i don't know what will she think about me? And I'm afraid what if she didn't like me back? What am i gonna do then. I just have to stop thinking like this. I just broke up with Ivana i should not force myself into this.'

Few days later.

It was valentines day.

Jen was in her school studying still thinking about dylan.

Jen thinking:

'i really like him allot. I don't know how am i gonna get rid of his thoughts'

The school ended. All the couples were cuddling each others. Jen fell upset. She was walking outside the school when she saw dylan waiting for her. She was unable to control her happiness. She ran towards dylan and hugged him tightly.

Dyl hugged her back.

Jen: "what are you doing here?"

[she said excitedly]

Dylan was nervous.

Dylan: "I just came here to meet you. I was on my weekly off today so... I thought to meet you"

[He said hesitating]

Jen:"that's so nice of you."

Dylan: "thank you. So are you hungry? Shall we go to have dinner?"

Jen: "uhm it's way too early to have dinner now."

Dylan: "okay so let's go to the amusement park what say? Than we can grab something to eat on the way"

Jen: "yeah that's nice. Let's go"

They both sat in his car and started driving.
