Chapter 6: The Company

Issabelle POV

I woke up and wore my exercise outfit. Teaching Ria self defence is a good thing even though I know that she will always have guards whenever she goes.

I walked downstairs and found her sitter on the couch.聽

"Morning Ria."

"Morning sis."

She likes to use that word cause it makes her feel that she really has a family. 聽

"You woke up very early today."

"Yaah. I know you still have to go to work hence I woke up earlier so that we can start the training."

"Ooh. That's nice. Let us go to the gym and start with simple exercises. The exercises not only help you in knowing self defense but also keeping fit."

"Ooh right. I know I will have a sexy body with good curves."

I laughed at what she said. I honestly understand her. At her age one only tries to have a good body shape so that you can attract men and get laid.

"Okay girl then get going if that what you really want."

We walked towards the gym.

"Wait, where are we going? I thought we are supposed to go to the gym and the house has to no gym."

I chuckled, shook my head and opened the door infront of us.

"You can go in your majesty."

She walked inside.

"Wow. Like who owns a gym in the house?"

"I of course."

She rolled her eyes at that.

"It is so beautiful. I will always come here when I want to get my anger out."

Ooh please no. If she becomes obsessed with the damn exercises, punches, she may end up becoming an assassin.

"Let us get started."

We walked towards the punching bags and I held one firmly.

"Show me what you can do. Start punching the bag."

She started punching. She used all of her strength leading her into getting tired so quickly.

"Just relax. Do not use all of your energy. It makes you to get tired quickly."

"Okay. "

She started once again. She had really improved.

"Good job. So let us get in the ring and try to punch me."

"Okay."

She tried to punch my rib but I got her hands. From how she punched someone, one could really predict what was her next move and could see her weaknesses. She did not shield herself from her opponent.

"Before starting to punch your opponent, try to study him and know his weakness. The way you are punching me, one can easily predict your next move and that can cause your defeat. Confuse the person. I mean you can bring your hands forward so that it seems that you want to punch him, he will definitely guard the parts in which your hands are directing but instead you kick him. This will take your appointment off guard. Never let one to predict your next move, be the one to predict his. Now let us start again."

This time, she really took me off guard. She is a fast learner and am really proud of her.

"That is very nice. Keep it up and always train even if am not with you."

"Okay. I have a question. What did you do to improve your fighting skills?"

I do not want to tell her. What if she started going there?

"I used to go to the underground fights. Dad trained me for an year afterwards I started going there. It really helps one cause you will learn knew skills. How your opponent fights and what you can expect from your attacks. I don't want you to go there. If you do, you will make me show you another side of me which you will definitely not like. So stay safe. Do not try anything foolish."

She just nodded and I knew she was mad. She wanted to go to the underground but I couldn't let her.

"Am off to work. Your new phone and laptop are at the counter."

At that she smiled.

"Okay. Thank you."

I walked out and headed to my bedroom. I took a quick bath, brushed my teeth. I wore a golden black umbrella dress,a black five inches heels and a golden handbag. I kept my hair straight and did my make up.

I walked downstairs. Thanks it is on a week day and my maid is in.

"Morning Issa."

"Morning Eva. Am really starving can you please serve me."

"Sure. How was your weekend."

"It was fine. I went to visit my parents. And ooh my little sister will be staying with me. Please take care good care of her and in case anything happen..."

"Call you immediately."

She said finished the sentence

"Correct. I have a meeting today so I need to hurry up."

After taking my breakfast, I left.

I always like to match with how I wore hence I drove my golden Lamborghini.

As soon as I entered the company, all the murmurs stopped. They know me as an arrogant boss. The only person who doesn't fear me is my personal assistant Jenny. She has been my assistant since I took this position hence she got used to my coldness but she knows that she should not mess with me.

I walked to my floor.聽

"Morning boss."

I looked at her and just nodded. I do not like anyone think that am soft and I don't favor people.

Everyone is treated fairly but the thing is that when you show them how soft you are they always take advantage of your kindness.

Being cold and an arrogant boss has made my company to be the second best. The first is Russo's Corporation which am meeting with them so that we can become partners.

After a couple of minutes in my office, Jenny walked in and handed me my coffee.

"You have meeting with Adrian Russo and Mr Martin in ten minutes in the conference room, at one, with Favors Fashion designs company and at four with Mr Maryani. You also need to sign these papers. "

"Okay. Just place them there I will sign them later."

"Okay."

I went through the papers and signed them. I looked at my watch and saw that only had five minutes left. I took the papers and walked outside. I handed Jenny the papers.

"Let's get going. The boss is just as arrogant as you and he arrived ten minutes earlier."

We walked towards the conference room. She opened the door for me and I walked inside. Immediately I took my sit I saw him.

"You again? This got to be kind of a joke,"

He smirked.

"Yes bellissima. It is me. I came to meet with your boss but it seems she is lazy. She still haven't arrived. I honestly can't understand how this company is the second best."

"If she is lazy. You are also as lazy as her. The last time I checked she left you sleeping at 8 in the morning."

I said and smirked at his expression.

"Wait. Dont tell me you are the boss?"

"Yes I am . why are you shocked? Did you think that you are the only billionaire between us? Sorry but you are mistaken. I have a lot of money as you do love."

I heard people smirk and I looked up and saw two men who sat next to them.

"What do you find funny. You should not listen to other people's conversations. Why are your manners? I bet your boss have not taught you?"

I asked as I raised my eyebrows.

"She is a feisty one dude. I definitely like her."

"Ooh please. I don't need you to like me. Why can't we start this meeting so that I can leave?"

"Too eager to get rid of me amore? Why can't you take me out for lunch?"

"You wish. Keep dreaming cute boy."

I saw this expression change.

"You are lucky that you i cannot kill you."

"Is that so? You will never kill me. I know that."

"Mam, sir can we start the meeting? I have other important work than listening to both of you arguing."

"Who do you think you are to talk to me..."

I shot him and everyone looked shocked and some helded fear.

"I am really terrified."

"Ooh please."

I said as I rolled my eyes to him.

"None of you should ever talk to me in such a manner. I definitely not care whether you have a family. I will kill you instantly. Am I clear?"

They nodded their heads. I am getting frustrated. I shot the ceiling and they jumped out of fear apart from Adrian and his two friends who just looked at me with a shocked expression.

"Dont you have mouths to use or should o get rid of them so that you can just be dumb as you all want. I repeat again, am I clear?"

"Yes boss." They said and I nodded.

I picked my phone and called samuel.

"In the conference room immediately."

"Okay boss."

After three minutes he walked inside.

"Yes boss. What do you need."

"Get rid of that body."

"Okay boss."

Immediately he took the body and walked outside, I cleared my throat to get their attention.

"Let us get started."

I stood up and walked towards the man who spoke and shot him in the knee. He screamed loudly gaining attention from others.

"What are you doing bellissima?"

"Teaching this liar a lesson."

"So why can't you tell all of us the truth. Translate what you said in Spanish into english before I kill you."

"So you have the guts to lie to us? I will make sure you loose your company. I am a Spanish so if you really thought that you could lie to us then you are mistaken. Get out of my company before I loose my mind and kill you."

"S....so...sorry Miss Moretti."

"Get out," i yelled.

He ran outside fast with his bleeding leg but I shot him before he got out of the conference room.聽

I laughed loudly forgetting that there were people still present.

I turned and found all of them looking at me with terror and shock.

"What!" I snapped.

"Do not dare lie to me or you will just follow your friend. Anyways where were we? So NY Company I will not be working with you, you all are cheats and I don't work with deceiving people. I will meet with the Russo Corporation next week. Excuse me I have a lot of pedding work to do."

After saying that I walked outside.

Adrian pov

Flashback.

My little sister had sent me to get her a teddy bear when I met 'her'.

I have not yet found anything about her. I don't know her name. When she shot me at my knee I knew that she was not joking that she is also part of the mafia. Whose daughter is she?聽

I smiled at her being angry for calling her daddy's girl.聽

Honestly she might be from a rich family but she is not a brat.

She was confident and brave. She did anything without caring the consequences. When I returned home with a bruised leg, my family were worried. They kept asking me a lot of questions.聽

Was I attacked? And if yes by whom.聽

Even when one gets a scratch in the mafia people always think that you were attacked.

"I was not attacked. She got mad and shot me. We really need to find who she is."

"She did what?" Mark and Frank asked.

"You are really whipped man."

"Definately. No one hurts you and continue living ."

"Who are you boys talking about?" Mom asked.

"A woman whom he had one nightstand but she is not like the other girls. She left him in bed, she did not refer him as Mr Russo and now this." Mark said.

"She is the right one son. Find her and don't let her go." Dad said.

"She is also part of the mafia but I really do not know whose daughter she is."

"We will find out at the charity ball. Every mafia leader is supposed to go with his family."

"Okay dad."

"You should remember that you have a meeting with the Tesoro Corporation and NY Company at Tesoro Corporation."

"Okay."

The following day discovering that she was the CEO of Tesoro Corporation shocked me and the way she got rid of people who messed with her.

She was killing people as if they were a cockroach. She even laughed when she killed the secretary of NY Company. People say that am cold but she is worse than me. When she claimed that she is a spanish, we investigated and found that Mr Moretti has 3 daughters but there is no any picture or details about them. I will find out on Saturday.

"So what are we going to do about Tesoro Corporation."

"I make a deal with them and become partners that's how I will get close to her and know who she really is."

"Okay don."

"So any news about Raphael?"

"No don. He is really quiet since then but there is someone who is doing investigation about it. We have not been able to locate or hack the systems."

"Find out fast cause I do not want to have another enemy."

"Okay don. I work on it."
