cHAPTER: 05

Texana West POV

I STOPPED my motor when I came to the opposite side of Uncle Luiz's Mansion. Today is Sunday, One day passed after I met Kalem.

"Are you West, young lady?" asked the guard who peeked from the gate so I nodded in response and he immediately opened the gate so I started my motor again.

I got off my motorbike to park it in Uncle Luiz's garage and then I went inside their mansion and some maids came up to me.

"Good morning young lady, are you West?" Asked an old woman.

Pst! Looks like Uncle Luiz told them I was coming ah.

"Morning and yeah, it's me." I answered sparingly and she smiled

"Sit down here first, Luiz is coming down too, do you want something to drink?" She smiled.

"No thanks."

"Ok, I'll leave you first, I'll just cook." I just nodded again in response to her.

I rolled my eyes at the entirety of Uncle Luiz’s house and I could tell his house was huge and nice. It just looks like our house.

"West?"

I turned to the person who called my name and immediately saw Uncle Luiz who now had a big smile as he walked towards me.

He stopped in front of me and hugged me tightly.

"I missed you kid, we haven't seen each other for a long time, you're so big and beautiful." He spoke before breaking away from my embrace.

"I guess your dad explained to you all the things you should know." He nodded so I nodded and sat on the sofa.

"Where is he?" I asked to uncle.

"Excited to see him?" He smiled so I looked at him coldly.

"Just kidding, He's still in his room." He answered so I didn't say anything.

"By the way, Thank you and you agreed West, That boy is very reprimanding, He goes everywhere even though he knows his life is in danger."  He said.

"Does he have a bodyguard?"

"Yes, I've given him a lot of bodyguards but he's really working on a way to escape from them, it's not just because all the bodyguards I took to guard him have all resigned because he beat them up everyday." His hand on his head promised so I was shaken.

It seems reprehensible that his son really is.

"He's already there." Uncle Luiz suddenly said as he looked behind me where the stairs were.

"Come here, Son."

"Why?" I was shocked to hear the familiar voice.

Kalem Dela Vega. So, it's him? What a small world. tch, Why did I forget that Dela Vega is Uncle Luiz's surname?

I could feel his footsteps approaching Uncle Luiz and he stopped next to his father who was sitting on the sofa in front of me.

"West, this is my son, His name is Kalem and Kalem, this is West. Your new bodyguard." Uncle Luiz introduced us to each other and when our eyes met, his face immediately wrinkled.

"What?!" He shouted that he obviously didn't like what his father said "Are you fvcking Serious that this woman will be my bodyguard? do you think she can protect me? Maybe I'll be the one to protect her, she just looks weak!" He sighed angrily as he pointed at me so the corner of my lip slightly raised.

He doesn't seem to be facing me, Tch.

I remained I'm sitting while no emotion looked at them.

"I'm Serious, Kalem. And Don't underestimate her, She's the most powerful Agent that I know." Uncle Luiz had no emotional response.

Agent? yeah, that's what Uncle Luiz said about my personality to Kalem even though it's not true because he can't say I'm a MAFIA.

"D*mn! I don't care if she's powerful or not, I don't need her dad, there are many bodyguards there but why women? do you want people who see her to laugh at me? What will people say to me? Because I'm so weak, can a woman still protect me?" He protested so I just gasped.

He was too talkative for a man. I'm starting to get annoyed because of him. If one day I was happy with him now I am not. He's too noisy that I hate the most.

"My decision is Final whether you like it or not. So, From now on she will be your bodyguard." Uncle Luiz's promise was authoritative, so he just tweaked his hair and walked away with a bang, but before that, he looked at me first.

"Hey! Where are you going again?" Uncle Luiz shouted when he came out of their house.

"It's none of your business!" He shouted back before leaving directly on his bike.

"My god! You see that? Very stubborn." Uncle Luiz's promise was frustrated so I just shook my head

"I'm sorry about his attitude, West." He added.

"That guy, Tch!" I smirked and shook my head.

"Hahaha I think this mission will be difficult for you."

"Hell yeah, I guess we will hate each other in the future." I used to make him laugh.

"I'll go now to follow your st*pid son." I said and stood up.

"Hahaha, He's yours st*pid husband too West." I just rolled my eyes at him before exiting his mansion and riding my motor.

Now. Where can I find that boy? Tch. Come what may.

I quickly turned my motor away while frowning. Only now can I see that we don't get along.

I don't want to tell him that I'm the Ms. Red Eyes who helped him because I'm too lazy to explain why my eyes are red, one more thing, I'm sure he'll be even more dangerous if someone finds out that he saw Bloody Hell .

"He's in trouble again."

I was blown away by the violent wind when I saw Kalem inside a restaurant and the two men who were 30 years old answered because of the loudness of their voices it is not only the people inside the restaurant who can hear them but also the people who pass in front of the restaurant.

I stopped my motor not far from the restaurant and walked into it.

I stopped three steps away from them and because Kalem was behind me he could not see me.

"You're going to deny it, eh I saw you put a cockroach on the food you ordered! Then you'll say their food is dirty here?" Kalem shouted at the two men.

"You're a liar kid! Why would we do that? And why are you trying to find out? Are you the owner?!" The two men also shouted angrily so the people around them immediately started whispering.

"I'm not lying, why would you do that? I'm aware of you, and you don't care if I interfere, one more thing. What if I'm not the owner of this restaurant?" Kalem answered again so one of the men pulled the collar of his polo.

"P-please that's right Sirs, let's just talk about it properly." The manager spoke and tried to calm them down but it had no effect because the man got even angrier and pushed him away, causing him to sit on the floor.

"Guilty?" Kalem said and even though I can't see his face I know he's smiling, he's very chill when I look at him but the trembling of his fist can't escape my sight.

Tch. His tendency to get into trouble that he could not get through alone.

"Damn!" the man shouted and was about to attack him but I quickly stepped closer to them and from Kalem's shoulder I quickly caught his fist with my left hand while the right one was holding his fist on Kalem's collar.

everyone was surprised because I did even Kalem I felt shocked too.

"You're such a trouble maker, Kid." I whispered in his ear and I saw the roundness of his eyes and the criticism of his ears and cheeks.

"S-shut up! What are you doing here?!can you stay away from me!" He was annoyed so I squeezed his fist and gradually removed it from Kalem's collar so he moaned and pulled back his fist which I let go.

"You might want to leave between us." I used to talk to Kalem.

"Yes, shit!" He sped away from the middle of us when the man and then walked straight out of the restaurant.

I immediately let go of the other fist of the man I was holding and turned my back on it and was about to leave to follow Kalem because he might go somewhere else but I was stopped by the sudden screams of those people.

"Where do you think you're going, Woman?!" I sighed and didn't feel like stepping sideways and when the man's fist passed in front of me, I grabbed it tightly and twisted it towards his back and grabbed his hair and pushed him to the floor.

"A-ah! let go of me --- fuck!" he shouted because I tightened the twist on his arm and pressed his face even harder on the floor.

"Armando!" His companion shouted and when I felt that the chair would hit me, I let go of the man's hair and quickly grabbed the chair and turned to look at him.

he was surprised so I took advantage of that and stood up and just as I stood up I kicked him with my left fist causing him to run towards the door of the restaurant.

I looked outside and breathed a sigh of relief when I saw that Kalem had stopped leaving and seemed to be watching what I was doing.

there was a trace of amazement and shock in his eyes so I smiled and when our eyes met I winked at him which made his face frown and he turned around again.

I immediately left the restaurant because it looked like the manager had called the police.

"Thank you Miss!" I heard their promise so I just raised my hand and quickly touched the hem of Kalem's polo as a reason to stop it and annoyed I looked back.

Before he could open his mouth I covered it.

"I don't want to hear any words from you, so shut your mouth okay?" I then grabbed him by the arm and pulled him closer to my motor.
