Chapter 5: Big Betrayal.

Alexander:

I wrapped my arms around Jenna, pulling her close as we floated in the pool. Our lips met in a passionate kiss, the warm water lapping gently against our skin.

The moon cast an eerie reflection on the waters as we devoured each other's lips.

As we broke apart for air, I smiled at Jenna, my eyes locked on hers. "Thank you for telling me the truth," I said, my voice low and husky. I pecked her blonde hair.

Jenna's eyes sparkled with triumph, and she leaned in close, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'm always happy to help you, Alexander," she said, her lips brushing against my ear.

I felt a surge of desire at her words, and I pulled her close again, our bodies entwining as we kissed. But even as I lost myself in the moment, I couldn't help but think about what Jenna had told me.

She was a clever girl, always playing the angles and getting what she wanted. She has been suspecting Louisa and told me immediately. I didn't believe her at first until the trip to Washington. Everything became so fúcking obvious.

Well, now, I've gotten rid of her. She's nothing to me! Whore!

"Thank goodness, she's gone. No one will come between us. She'll never ever hurt you again, sweetie." Jenna smiled seductively drawing invisible lines on my chest

"I'll be right back, huh?" Jenna smiled, disengaging from the kiss.

As Jenna excused herself and began to walk away, she nearly tripped on the slippery floor. I instinctively reached out to catch her, but she regained her balance just in time.

"Be careful, you don't want to hurt the baby," I said with a smile, trying to sound playful.

Jenna laughed and blew me a kiss before sashaying out of the room. I watched her go, feeling a sense of satisfaction and contentment. We went for a checkup and it's discovered she's pregnant. I was so elated. We're going to keep the baby.

My mind flew to Louisa. She said she's pregnant but we all know that's a lie

I remembered I left a gift I wanted to give Jenna in my room. I immediately got out of the pool. I walked inside my room and began to rummage through my drawers, but my attention was caught by Jenna's bag, which was sitting on the bed.

Out of curiosity, I walked over and picked it up, rummaging through its contents. And that's when I saw them. Abortion pills. My heart stopped as I stared at the small packet, my mind reeling with shock and confusion.

Why did Jenna have abortion pills? Was she...was she planning to get rid of the baby? I felt like I had been punched in the gut, my breath knocked out of me.

I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Jenna had been so convincing, so sincere, as she kept telling me she was pregnant! And now, it seemed, it was all a lie.

I walked out of the room, my mind still reeling from the emotions that had ravaged me. The sound of hushed voices carried from the living room, drawing my attention.

Jenna and my sister were laughing about something I didn't hear clearly. They sat on the couch, their faces serious now. I paused, trying to relax.

"...can't believe it worked," my sister said, a sly smile spreading across her face.

"Shh, keep your voice down," Jenna warned, glancing around nervously. "The worst part is that she's pregnant but because of the edited pictures, he'll never believe it's his!"

"Poor girl finally got pregnant!" Yolanda laughed.

I think I've heard enough. "What's going on?" I demanded, my presence startling them.

Jenna's eyes widened, guilt written across her face. She got up, slightly trembling.

"Alex, nothing," my sister stammered. "It's...it's not what you think.."

Their words echoed in my mind. She was framed. They had just destroyed my marriage. Everything was faked! What the hell? I couldn't believe this.

A cold fury spread through my veins as I turned to Jenna. "You manipulated me," I accused. I can't believe this. "Christ! Are you insane? You made me toss away the only thing that ever mattered to me, you made me divorce my gorgeous wife! You're going to regret this!

Jenna's face paled. "Babe, please-"

"Don't even think of it. I'll make sure you got in jail," I growled.

Yolanda shifted uncomfortably, standing up. "I'm sorry –",

I sent her a glare that if looks could kill she'd be six feets underground right now.

"I'm sorry! I loved you Xander. How could you not see? The first day we met, I fell head over heels. You met Lou and I together but it was only her you gave your attention too! How could I stand and watch her take you from me??" Jenna sobbed, getting on her knees slowly. "I loved you!"

"You're going to jail for this." I said adamantly. Nothing's going to deter me, she'll serve the rest of her life in jail. I'll see to it. And my sister, she'll get her share.

"I'm pregnant! You wouldn't want your baby to be born in jail, would you?" Jenna said rigidly and I laughed.

"What baby?" I scoffed, pulling out the pills.

"Oh . No, no,no!" She gasped, covering her mouth in fright. "It's not what you think it is! I haven't taken them."

"Oh yeah and it's magically empty huh?" I tossed the empty pack for her and she shook slightly.

"I can't believe you tricked me. You convinced me that the best way to get my revenge is to have an affair with you. I was too hurt and betrayed to resist, Jenna! I slept with you and we never stopped so that we could make her pay! You vile bitch!! I'll make you regret it, both of you."

"I didn't take the pills. I'm still carrying your child Xander, whether you like it or not!" She said defiantly.

I felt like I was punched in the chest, my chest constricting for air.

"Louisa is gone, for good. You promised you'd marry me, Xander. I'd never allow you to get rid of me!" She said desperately.

I was speechless.
