In the black SUV.

“Do your dad still send bodyguards to you?” Meiyin whispered in Yue's ear and she chuckles.

“He behaves like a worried mother hen! Let me tell you something!” She yelps in excitement with her face widening open.

“I met this cute guy on one of my travel and then we hanged out for sometime and we are dating!” Ruyue beamed with happiness.

Her face lit up so bright like the sun and it made Meiyin ears tinkle. Her baby girl was finally dating?

But who?

“And do I perhaps know him?” Yin asked in cautious. If not for her, the spoilt princess would have been dumped by her boyfriend.

“I met him in Canada during my vacation and from there we hooked up. Are you not meant to be happy with me?!”

“How do I say this?” Meiyin sighs out in her mind.

How does she tell her best friend that she has become a money bank for a random boy all in the name of dating.

Men are really SCUMS!

“I am so happy for you! Seems to me that you got a new boyfriend fast. Can you remind me how many you've had within two months?”

“SIX! That's crazy!” Yue halts in her words and looks Meiyin in the eyes.

Her eyes were so stoic that she was going somewhere.

“I have been fooled, right?” Ruyue eyes tears up.

“Do I need to spell it out for you? This is the seventh man you have introduced to me as your boyfriend. They are using you!” Meiyin said.

Seeing her gay friend all of a sudden sad and about to sober, she felt bad.

However, Life is rude and wicked and everyone has to learn it the hard way.

There is no way she would allow her best friend to be bamboozled because of her feelings.

“Don't cry! ” Meiyin rests Ruyue head on her neck and cleans the little drop of tears on her cheeks.

“You will find someone that is right for you one day and then you don't have to give your love to a random dude ” Yinyin reassured her with a smile.

Love was painstaking to Meiyin.

She is in the age of marriage yet no man. The heavens must really hate her!

The car became very silent until Meiyin phone rang. She swiped the call and answered the call.

“Miss Zhang, It is great I could get your contact before you left ” The voice sounded like a lady in her twenties.

“Yes it is. Sorry but if I may ask, You are?” Meiyin paused and checked the caller ID but had no name.

She tried to recall but there was no hope.

“I am Editor Su man Li, Su Juang's Daughter. ” She spoke and Meiyin glimmered more.

“Editor Su?” She recalled the name and even beamed more.

The Editor she worked with during her years of study contacted her.

Editor Su owns the best Magazine publish company in the whole Asia. It was a golden opportunity to those who got her to contact them.

Her schedule were mostly filled every second and did not accept any B grade model even A grade models.

Many model's dream was to have a cooperation with SHY but didn't, What made hers different?

“You still there?”

“Yes I am.”

“I hope you are back in Beijing. Next tomorrow, I will be having an audition for my new headlines ‘Beauty’. I know you have potentials so I contacted you.” Editor Su confessed.

“I won't let you down, Ma'am!” She answered with a cheerful voice and the call ended right there. “Ruyue?”

She had a peek at the sleeping girl on her laps and caressed her cheeks

In Midnight Falls.

“Miss Su ” His face lit up after the call ended.

“Mr Ling. I did not know you were interested in the runway for you to know high quality models. ” Editor Su complimented him.

Editor Su and Gao Jimi had been college friends when they were studying in Harvard Business college until she transferred to Fashion department.

Seeing that her college friend asked for a visit and was not reluctant to pay her accommodation and travelling fees in other to bring her to Beijing, she suspected something fishy there.

“I am not enthusiastic about the runway just only one person .” He sipped his coffee and hands her a check. “I want you to personal pick her for the lead of your upcoming event .”

“Mr. Ling, this is a fair competition among models and if the news gets out that I made her the winner just because I was bribed then I would lose so much ” Editor Su pushed back the pile of brown envelopes and check to him

“I will cover all your expenses when that happens. You see that girl is very special to me and I don't want someone special to me to be begging!”

“Mr. Ling, I will try her out myself but if she does not fulfil the requirement needed of her then I would have to damn say, I am sorry, I can't help you ”

“That's better that way. Thanks for honouring my visit, Su man ” Gao Jimi steps into the conversation.

It would not be the Su Man Li he knew, if she allowed her to be declared as the winner without a try out first.

“Anytime. ” Editor Su stood up and was led out of the hotel.

“I want to know why you are trying to book shows for Miss Zhang ”

Gao Jimi could not get a definite answer as to why his boss could not forget about the woman he met last nine years.

Although the boss showed lots of sexual clues but know one would ever know that the boss is crazy over some model.

Even when billionaire's daughter, Mayor's daughter has seduced him and did not work.

“Shut the fuck up!” With this words, Jimi shut his lips tight and eyed at the boss.

In SRD.

“Hey! I have been here for twenty minutes, Are you coming?” Meiyin phoned Ruyue.

They already planned to meet up in SRD tonight to celebrate, yet her best friend was no where to be seen.

“Sorry to bail out again. My dad and I had a little fight and I was grounded. Celebrate tonight first then tomorrow, I will throw a big party!” Su Man Li coughs

“Are you sick?”

“Just a cold nothing more. Have fun!”

“You too and also get well ”

Meiyin put back her phone in her purse and went along with the party.
