Chapter Six (DUTY OF A WIFE)

XANDER'S POV

WHEN we arrived at the Villa, Summer was still sound asleep.

I smiled. I just now examined her face carefully. She's a beautiful word, but the longer she stares, the more beautiful she becomes.

I caressed her cheek. It was a way for her to wake up. "Here we are." she said rubbing her eyes.

Getting out of the car Nanny Adel greeted us. It was Summer who asked how our walk was.

"I'm going to prepare your dinner." said to her.

"I'll help you." Summer said.

"Nanny," I scratched my neck. "Ah, I'll only eat on the 3rd floor. You're the only one to go with Summer." I said.

I knew Yaya Adel already understood what I meant so I walked away. I went up to my room I picked up the voice changer before I went up to the 3rd floor where Les was.

"How is he?" I asked Dr. Willian.

"Not good. He complained earlier that he was having trouble breathing."

"Why hasn't he started his operation yet?" I was worried for Les' condition.

"We can't because his body is still weak and just in case there is another problem that needs to be solved. His blood is AB negative. It's hard to find."

"We're twins that won't be a problem. I'm sure we have the same blood type."

"I'm sure. According to the result of your blood type. You are A positve. It's not a match. It really happens that siblings can even with twins." doctor's explanation.

"Then find a donor. I'm willing to pay even if it's millions."

When I entered Les's room I was shocked by this geese.

"Y-you're screaming again." he said.

"Do not Speak."

"H-how are you and S-summer? Summer grew up in the orphanage L-."

I was shocked that Les knew that. "How did you know that?"

"L-lucas help to find out."

The truth is I’m not really firing Lucas and Dado. Lucas is a good NBI agent who is trained in weapons no wonder he was able to provide information to Les this is also probably the reason why Les asked Lucas and Dado. Dado, on the other hand, is a good Assassin.

"Get well so you can meet your sister in law."

I didn't leave Les' room, I wanted to be with him longer because it had been a long time since I had been with him and taken care of him. When he fell asleep I called Summer and again pretended to be Les.

SUMMER'S POV

I HELPED Aling Adel set the table when her cellphone rang.

"Hija, Senyorito Les." the old man handed the cellphone to me.

"Hello, Alessandro."

"How was the orphanage event?" question on the other line.

"It's okay, a lot of children were happy because Xander gave them a toy. It's tiring but fun. If you're good, I'll introduce you to the nuns and children there."

Laugh at it. "I have some news for you. I'll be back tomorrow. Villa, you can be with me." He said.

My chest throbbed. Alessandro is coming back. Is he well? I was stunned.

"Hello Honey?"

"Are you all right?"

"It's not like that yet, but I miss you so I'll be back to be with you. Why don't you miss me anymore."

"Alessandro, I want to fulfill my duty as your wife. I must be the one who cares about you." I said.

"I want to sleep with you, are you ready for that. Maybe you'll run again." laugh it off on the other line.

Our conversation didn't last long either. I gave the phone to Aling Adel according to which Alessandro asked for my number. So I gave up.

WHEN I went upstairs to Alessandro's room, I fell asleep right away. I was in a trance when I felt the soft bed shake and someone stood beside me.

I seldom thought that Xander might be the one to cheat on me again.

I would have stood up when the person next to me hugged me from behind.

"Don't move hon, it's me." he said.

"A-alessandro, I thought you were going home tomorrow. Have you eaten yet maybe you want something."

"I've eaten. Don't be naughty. I want to rest. Here next to you."

He tightened his grip on me. I felt his hand on my chest as he inserted it into the nightgown.

"A-alessandro,"

"Don't call me Alessandro. Call me hon or love. But not Alessandro." he whispered in my ear. I felt the heat of his breath.

His hand plays on my full chest while gently kissing my nape.

"ale-, I'll just move to the sofa so you can rest." I said I knew one of my obligations as his wife was to step aside and have sex with him but I was still ashamed and I was not ready.

"Are you still afraid of me?" he said again.

"No. I'm worried it'll be better for you if we don't do this."

"Don't worry I won't do anything other than that. I want to rest as well, hon." its answer

If it wasn't for the pain, I might have been beaten because of the annoyance but I just let it go and it didn't take long and I felt like I was asleep. Like the first time I saw him, his face was full of bandages up to his neck and his hand was also there.

I adjusted our blanket. And I slept next to him too.
