Determined and goal-driven, Scarlet knows exactly what she wants from life, and love isn’t on the list of priorities. We were both panting slightly from the fight for a better position, but he’d somehow managed to get me on my back with my hands fixed to my sides. He’d fixed himself between my legs to prevent me from making any big movements that would let me slip away. Reflexively, I locked my legs around his torso to prevent him from moving either.I stiffened for a moment when I realized the position we were in and felt the heat intensify in my cheeks. He stayed still and looked me in the eyes with a sly grin slipping onto his face.“You know, we can do many things in this position. Or would you prefer some other?” My breath hitched in my throat at his slightly husky voice and the meaning of his words. I tried to convince myself he was only talking about jiu-jitsu but my imagination was already busy sending me pictures of what things exactly we could do in this stance.When I remembered where we were, I got some of my sense back and my unwillingness to admit defeat made me want to use his own game against him.“Oh, I do prefer another position. You see, I like to be on top.” I pushed my hips closer to him so my center was connected with his. The feeling of something hard pressing into me made my face flame up. It took me a second to remember guys had to use hard protection for their private parts as a vital component of their training gear. They wouldn’t want to hurt their family jewels by getting accidentally hit hard, would they?Trying to keep those distracting thoughts away, I quickly reached for his neck to pull him closer, making him lose his balance. With a fast movement, I pushed my hips up and turned, taking him with me. Being unable to react in time, he fell flat on his back and I ended in a mounting position on top of him. I smiled down at him in victory, my heart racing from the thrill.His lips turned up into a grin that made a shiver run down my spine. “Well, I don’t really dislike this position either.”
