THE ALPHA’S MATE, THE BETA’S LOVER

Amelia Grace, a struggling young lady, working hard to make ends meet, gets a new job in Oregon as a waitress, she is amazed by the splendor of this town, the large forest, and the natural landscape, she has always loved nature. Amelia adapts to her new work and environment, she avoids quarrels and customers, who want her body, being a weak-willed person who likes to avoid quarrels and conflict, all goes smoothly and Amelia's life is normal until she meets the alpha of the Grimclaw pack, he suddenly takes interest in her and express his distaste on her low-level job, being a wealthy alpha, he asks her to be his mate; Amelia agrees and Logan takes her to Grimcity a small town for his pack and announces her as his mate. Grimclaw pack members react differently on hearing the news, some and jealous and resentful especially the ladies, and some are happy. Amelia is happy and grateful for the alpha, and they set a date for the mating ceremony, meanwhile, she meets Logan's second-in-command and right-hand man, Brock, a silent and brooding person. Brock is the beta of the Grimclaw pack; Amelia gets drawn to him and falls in love with him, while trying to bring him out of his dark self, she is torn in between the friendly personality of Logan and the quiet, brooding person of Brock, and cannot openly admit who she loves most, but she felt drawn to Brock's quiet nature and she is afraid of hurting anyone's feeling, and ominously the mating ceremony is drawing near, and Amelia knew that once mating ceremony was done, it was till death. Logan, meanwhile is very happy and throws a party for Amelia, the party goes on in full swing and she is congratulated by the pack members, Logan introduces Brock to her, not knowing Amelia already knows who he is, Brock's green eyes observe her quietly, Amelia offers her hand to him and Brock stares at it for a while before shaking it, Logan leaves them to attend other matters, and Amelia, wanting to start a conversation ask Brock questions none of which he replies, instead of being angry or furious, Amelia is intrigued by his person, she finds herself staring at his handsome chiseled face longer than necessary. A month before the mating ceremony, Grimclaw werewolves are attacked by rogue werewolves and Amelia is kidnapped, Logan sends his trusted and powerful beta, Brock, to retrieve her. Brock does so and retrieves her, but the rogues, not wanting to make things easier for them enable the 'labyrinth mode' a secret technique that makes their landscape change constantly making it hard for one to find their way home, meanwhile, Amelia discovers werewolves signs on her. Brock and Amelia get stuck and while they struggle to survive and fight the opposition, Brock trains Amelia on how to overcome her fears and be a better fighter, he also teaches her how to battle in wolf form. Amelia falls deeply in love with Brock, and she confesses her feelings, Brock rebuffs her, and works hard to get them out of the labyrinth, this goes on for month and Brock character starts to change, he becomes more open and friendly to Amelia and also falls for her, they get passionate and have a night together. Brock realizes what he has just done and his former self starts to rise again, he distances himself from Amelia. Amelia tries to win him back but Brock is having none of it, he fell guilty having betrayed his alpha by sleeping with his mate. Brock helps Amelia finally escape the trapped lands and return to Grim City, while he holds back their pursuers. Logan is happy to see his mate, Amelia on the other hand, on seeing Logan again is conflicted, she still feels something for him and doesn't know what to do. Logan organizes another party for Amelia's return, Amelia gets closer to Logan in Brock's absence and finally agrees to be his mate, weeks later Brock comes back and the whole Portland werewolves are happy to see their strong beta return. Logan organizes another party and while he flaunts Amelia has his mate for everyone. Brock still has feelings for Amelia and it torments him to see her in Logan's arms, his heart hardens, when Amelia comes to him he sends her away she gets angry and makes up her mind to forget about him, but it looks like the beta doesn't care, Brock openly whores around much to Amelia's dislike. This goes on until she realizes how much she has missed him, she goes to him in the middle of the night and he coldly sends her away but she refuses to leave and seduces him Brock's need rises again and he and Amelia makes love, while a pair of eyes watches, Vincent sent a spy, a woman to manipulate Logan's emotions. Meanwhile, Brock and Amelia become closer and he tells her how much he loves her cementing their relationship. Logan on the other hand, falls for Vincent's spy temporarily completely held and captivated by her charms and boldness, but the spy sees Brock and falls for Brock, she stalks Brock, in love with him, and wants to say it to him, she follows him to a forest and confronts him Brock rejects her and she gets angry, knowing Amelia is the reason behind his rejection, she tells this to Logan, who took it calmly, out of anger, sends the spy away, which Vincent killed afterwards because she fails to accomplish her mission.
